Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most beautiful and classic trekking journeys in Nepal. This trek takes you deep into the Annapurna Sanctuary, surrounded by some of the highest and most spectacular mountains in the world including Annapurna I (8,091m), Machapuchare (Fishtail), Hiunchuli and Annapurna South.
The trail passes through traditional Gurung and Magar villages, terraced farmland, dense rhododendron forests, waterfalls and high alpine landscapes. This trek is suitable for trekkers with a moderate level of fitness and does not require technical climbing skills.
